Asset Filters

This page describes the use of the asset filtering options available in the mobile application.

How assets are displayed

The application has the following ways of displaying assets, as you can see in the images on this page;

  • Asset-icon-2.png A small solid blue circle. These are individual assets displayed when a job is not in progress.
  • Asset-icon-1.png A small transparent blue circle. These are individual assets displayed when a job is in progress but these assets are not part of the job.
  • Asset-icon-3.png A small solid blue circle with an amber band. These are individual assets displayed when a job is in progress and the amber band indicates these assets require visiting.
  • Asset-icon-4.png A small solid blue circle with a green band. These are individual assets displayed when a job is in progress and the green band indicates these assets have successfully been visited.


Asset Clusters

Asset clusters are used to group individual assets together when zoomed out. Zooming in will break apart the clusters and the individual assets will be displayed.

  • White text indicates the count of non job assets.
  • Amber text indicates the amount of assets with work outstanding.
  • Green text indicates the amount of assets with work completed.
  • Asset-icon-5.png A large solid blue circle with white numbering. These are asset clusters displayed when a job is not in progress.
  • Asset-icon-6.png A large transparent blue circle with white numbering. These are cluster assets displayed when a job is in progress but these assets are not part of the job.
  • Asset-icon-7.png A large semi-transparent blue circle with an amber band. These are cluster assets displayed when a job is in progress, this cluster contains assets which have not been completed.
  • Asset-icon-8.png A large semi-transparent blue circle with a green band. These are cluster assets displayed when a job is in progress, all of the job assets in this cluster have been completed.

How to use the filter

The asset filter enables focusing the display by selecting various attributes from assets. You can access the filter by tapping the filter icon (Filter-icon.png) and then applying a type of filter depending on what you want to accomplish.

Job Asset Filter

Display Only Job Assets is a filter option which becomes available when a job is in progress. The asset counts for work completed and work outstanding will also be displayed.

Enabling this filter will display only the assets which are assigned to the job, any assets which are not part of the job will not be displayed.

This filter option appears at the top of the filter when a job is in progress.

Asset Attribute Filters

Asset attribute filters can be set on single or multiple attributes to enable focusing the display on assets in a specified condition.

Collection Date Filter

The collection date filter allows you to view assets updated before or after a specified date and time.

Select Before or After at the top of the panel and then use the scroll wheels to select the day and time required, tap Save Filter to apply the filter.
